Dr. Rondón-Pari taught at Ithaca College and the College at Brockport prior to joining the Modern and Classical Languages Department at Buffalo State College in 2018. In 2011, Dr. Rondón-Pari received an award for Exceptional Teaching at The College at Brockport and an award for Exceptional Service in 2012, also at The College at Brockport. Dr. Rondón-Pari has published articles in refereed journals in the areas of Spanish language, linguistics and Spanish pedagogy.
In 2010, Dr. Rondón-Pari became an Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) Rater with the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and in 2012 became a Lead Reviewer of Departments of Foreign Language Education for national accreditation through ACTFL and CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation). In addition, Dr. Rondón-Pari holds a NYS Spanish Court Interpreting Certification and has served as a court interpreter at all the local courts and also at immigration courts throughout the Northeast.
