BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Minnesota with a Minor in Music.
MA in French Language and Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with Spanish as a second language.

Prof. Roston-Etchar lived and worked in France for 12 years, teaching English at the universities and music in public schools and ateliers. She has traveled and studied extensively throughout Europe and Latin America, including Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Argentina and Ecuador.

Prof. Roston Etchar is an accomplished musician who performs regularly with the Ladies First Jazz Band.
