A Buffalo native, Dr. Barbara Miller has taught at the secondary level, and at her alma maters, UB and Daemen College, as well as at Canisius College, Western State College of Colorado, University of Rochester, University of Richmond, Virginia, and as SUNY Summer Program Director at the University of Salamanca, Spain.

She received tenure, and promotion to the rank of associate professor at Buffalo State in 2007.
